As a community pharmacy leader, Leah believes the heart of independent pharmacy lies in service, compassion, and creating a positive impact both inside and outside the pharmacy walls. Having grown up in the pharmacy environment and worked nearly every role throughout the years, she developed a deep appreciation for the teamwork, dedication, and personal connections that make community pharmacy unique.
Since stepping into the role of General Manager in 2010, Leah has remained committed to keeping the mission of Red Cross Drug Store strong by supporting both patients and staff with empathy, knowledge, and consistency. Her philosophy centers on leading through kindness—whether that means greeting someone with a smile, empowering her team to grow professionally, or contributing to initiatives that strengthen the local community. Leah’s commitment to community involvement, including her leadership on the Main Street board and helping Red Cross Drug Store earn Oregon’s Business of the Year recognition in 2015, reflects her belief that pharmacies should serve as trusted community pillars that bring hope, connection, and care to the people they serve every day.
