2 Year Public Awareness Campaign in Partnership with Oregon Health Authority and OSU College of Pharmacy
The challenge: Most patients still see independent pharmacies as places to fill prescriptions, not as accessible healthcare providers. This leaves care gaps, especially in rural communities. As a result, services like tobacco cessation, vaccinations, and chronic disease management remain underused, and many of these offerings haven’t yet reached meaningful demand. To meet this challenge….
- We Created a Compelling, Shareable Video
Advancing essential care—tobacco cessation, chronic disease management, vaccines, and medication therapy management—delivered through independent pharmacy. - We Amplified the Video and the Message Everywhere
Across paid media, digital channels, billboards, and pharmacy networks—to reach and mobilize rural communities.
Impact: Rural communities were underserved, and independent pharmacies were largely invisible to the patients who needed them. We responded with a durable, documentary-style video built to last beyond the campaign, then pushed it directly into the communities at the center of that care gap, especially southern Oregon.

The Big Care video took the message where it mattered most – to rural communities experiencing a crippling healthcare gap. It elevated the voice and the value of independent pharmacies across the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
