More about the Cascadia Pharmacy Group Residency Program
2026/2027 Residents

Ella Brown, PharmD, Resident – I grew up in Hillsboro, OR. I went to Oregon State for undergrad and attended the University of Washington for pharmacy school.
I did a rotation up in Forks, WA with Josuah and fell in love with independent pharmacy. By the end of those six weeks I knew that I wanted to apply for the residency program with CPG. Independent pharmacy has more flexibility compared to chain stores. The staff at other retail pharmacy locations are often under a lot of pressure to meet high metrics from corporate and are not given the freedom to explore the implementation of new programs that may benefit their patient population. The pharmacy practice becomes entirely about maximizing profit instead of patient care.
I am hopeful for progression with PBM reform and for better pharmacy legislation in the state of Oregon. I will be training in Forks and Lopez Island. I am most excited about working with the team in Forks again and getting to meet the team on Lopez Island for the first time!

Liliane Aupont, PharmD, Resident – I am from Orlando, Florida. I completed pharmacy school at Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Fl.
As I learned more about CPG, I became increasingly impressed by the number of independent pharmacies within the network, each offering unique practice settings and learning experiences. The diversity across these pharmacies creates a strong environment for professional growth and well-rounded training. I am particularly drawn to the opportunity to practice in a community setting while gaining experience outside of large corporate structures. I am passionate about community pharmacy and eager to develop my skills through high quality training and exposure to a variety of practice models.
I will be training at Chinook Pharmacy and am excited to get the opportunity to engage more frequently with customers and have the opportunity to create personable relationships and understand how to help each person uniquely. I’m also looking forward to exploring what it means to have more prescribing authority and the ways AI will be integrated in pharmacy practice. Finally, I look forward to learning what it takes to own a pharmacy, management and how this pharmacy is serving the community there.

Zinna Onukwufor, PharmD, Resident – I was born and raised in Nigeria and lived most of my adult life in Bellingham, WA. Completed my pharmacy school education at the University of Washington. I really value the opportunity to train in an environment where pharmacists are able to build meaningful relationships with patients while also expanding clinical services and impacting the community directly.
CPG stood out to me because it feels forward-thinking and genuinely committed to developing pharmacists into well-rounded clinicians and leaders. I love the idea of being part of a setting where innovation, preventative care, and strong patient relationships can truly thrive. I’m also excited about helping redefine the role of community pharmacists as essential healthcare providers beyond dispensing alone. Ostrom’s and surrounding locations. I’m especially looking forward to learning from the team while gaining hands-on experience in clinical services, patient care, and community engagement.

Emma Ankeney, PharmD, Resident – I am from Olympia WA, however we were a military family and we moved around a lot. I spent 8 years in Germany from 5th-12th grade. I completed pharmacy school at University of Washington.
I have worked as an intern with CPG pharmacies all throughout my time in pharmacy school and my admiration and interest has only grown. I love their mission and I want to continue to contribute to innovative practices that sustain independent pharmacies, especially in rural or underserved areas. What excites me most about working in independent pharmacy is the incredibly positive impact these pharmacies have on the community around them. There is more opportunity to tailor services to the specific needs of local patients when each pharmacy is independently owned.
I am excited about the prospect of pharmacists prescribing power expanding. As the most accessible healthcare provider, it’s exciting to continuously maximize the services a pharmacist can provide and further benefit the community.
I will be training at Centralia and Chehalis Pharmacies with Courtney Quinby. I am most looking forward to taking a deep dive into the operational and business side of pharmacy, as well as soaking up as much knowledge as I can from all the amazing preceptors.
