Payroll Processor and Benefits Assistant

Cascadia Pharmacy Group LLC is a management company that provides centralized services, such as accounting (A/P & A/R), bookkeeping, payroll, and human resources, to various businesses, ranging from independent pharmacies, restaurants, a family fun center, a bakery, a candy store and other retail establishments.

Job Title: Payroll Processor and Benefits Assistant

Position Overview

We are looking for a responsible person to perform a variety of administrative, clerical, benefits and payroll tasks. Duties of the Payroll Processor and Benefits Assistant include processing payroll, assisting with employee benefits, providing support to the numerous businesses we manage, assisting with daily office needs and managing the company’s general administrative activities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform general administrative duties such as but not limited to; filing, photocopying, faxing, and answering phone calls.
  • Process payroll – familiarity with Auris Payroll a plus, but not required
  • Update employee information in payroll system such as pay rates
  • Assist the Benefits Coordinator with employee benefit management
  • Correspond via email and telephone with employees regarding payroll issues
  • Onboard new hires
  • Meet daily and weekly time-sensitive deadlines
  • Willingness to accept and complete other projects assigned

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Environment: Work is performed in a busy office environment.

Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight 20 lbs.; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
